Steve Lavin is running low on hair product.

 
The night of the NCAA Tournament play-in game, I saw a shocking image on the studio big screen. There was a face that was familiar, but the hair didn't match. It was a "gel-less," "mousse-less," "pomade-less" Steve Lavin.

It took few days to get him on the phone, but he finally did join us this week to talk hair product, Sweet 16, UCLA and Kevin Love. One of the great things about Lav these days is the fact that he goes randomly spinning off into unexpected directions. If you listen to this interview, I ask him a question about how important coaching experience is in the tournament, and, the next thing you know, he's talking about astronauts.
